Ingredients

- 200 grams rice
- 4 tomatoes
- 4 onions
- 4 green chilies
- 1 bowl cabbage
- 4-5 pieces cauliflower
- 1 bowl peas
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 2 bay leaves
- 4-6 black peppercorns
- 1 piece cinnamon stick
- 2 cardamoms
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon pav bhaji masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons ghee
- Oil as needed
- Fresh coriander leaves as
- needed
Instructions
- Boil the rice and chop the vegetables.Heat a pan on the stove, add oil, and then add cumin seeds, black peppercorns, bay leaves, cinnamon, and cardamoms. Sauté for about 15 seconds. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for another 15 seconds. Then add onions and cook until they turn light red.
- Add the chopped vegetables and fry for about 2 minutes. Add salt.
- Add all the spices—turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, and pav bhaji masala—and cook for 5 minutes. Pour in 1/3 cup water, cover, and cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the boiled rice and mix well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes. Then add ghee and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
