1. Sabudana Vada — साबूदाना वड़ा
Ingredients / सामग्री:
- 1 cup soaked sabudana (भिगा हुआ साबूदाना)
- 2 boiled potatoes, mashed (उबले आलू)
- 2 tbsp roasted peanuts, crushed (भुनी मूंगफली)
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped (हरी मिर्च)
- Sendha namak / rock salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying (तलने के लिए तेल)
Method / विधि:
- Drain excess water from soaked sabudana and mash lightly.
- Mix sabudana, mashed potatoes, crushed peanuts, green chilies and sendha namak. Combine well — mixture should hold shape; if loose, add a little more mashed potato or a spoon of kuttu flour.
- Shape into small patties (vadas).
- Heat oil and deep fry on medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towel.
