Market-Style Spicy Indian Macaroni Pasta | Super Tasty & Easy Recipe
Ingredients
- Macaroni pasta – 2 cups
- Water – 1.5 liters
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 1 tbsp (chopped/grated)
- Ginger – 1 tbsp (grated)
- Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
- Green chilies – 2-3 (finely chopped)
- Tomatoes – 3 (finely chopped/paste)
- Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Capsicum (red, yellow, green) – ¼ cup
- Carrot – ¼ cup (chopped)
- Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
- Schezwan sauce – 1 tbsp
- Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp
- Pizza/pasta seasoning – 1 tsp
- Chili flakes – ½ tsp
- Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Instructions
- Boil the Pasta
Add salt and oil to boiling water. Cook macaroni only 85% (not fully). Drain, wash with cold water, and mix with a little oil. - Prepare the Masala
Heat oil and butter in a pan. Sauté garlic and ginger. Add onions and cook until golden. Mix in green chilies and tomatoes. - Add Spices
Add salt, red chili powder, and black pepper. Cook till tomatoes are soft and oil separates. - Add Vegetables
Add capsicum and carrot. Cook for 2 minutes (keep them slightly crunchy). - Add Sauces & Mayo
Mix in tomato ketchup, schezwan sauce, and mayonnaise. This gives creamy and tangy flavor. - Mix Pasta
Add boiled macaroni, seasoning, and chili flakes. Mix gently so pasta doesn’t break. - Garnish & Serve
Add fresh coriander. Optionally top with cheese and cover for 1 minute. Serve hot.
